Coming off the heels of her success in Netflix Original show Sacred Games, Radhika Apte can now add ‘Clinique brand ambassador’ to her multi-page resumé. As the face of the dermatologist-created skincare brand, Apte aims to increase brand awareness of the new moisturiser Clinique iD and the cult-favourite hydrator Moisture Surge. “Skincare has always been an integral part of my beauty regime alongside drinking water, staying fit and sleeping well. I’ve long admired Clinique and strongly believe in its philosophy of great skin equals happiness,” says Apte. We spoke to her about her favourite beauty memories, skincare tips and makeup hacks she’s learnt over the years.

Her first beauty memory

“My mother and my grandmother are my beauty muses always. When I was little, my mother first introduced to me to moisturising. It’s the one beauty step I practice religiously, along with trying to drink as much water as I can in the day. Hydration is important for maintaining good skin.”

Her signature look

“I am in love with the natural beauty trend. I moisturise and use a lip balm for a flush of colour.”

Her makeup kit must-haves

“I love the Clinique Moisture surge for the plumped hydration and beautiful texture. I’ll never leave the house without a matte lipstick in my bag, and I’ll always have a cleansing balm like Clinique Take The Day Off on hand to thoroughly take all the makeup off at night.”

What is your skincare routine like?

“I cleanse, tone and moisturise. I drink a lot of water, sleep a lot and use a moisturiser twice a day. And I remember to stay happy!”

What is the best beauty tip you’ve learnt recently?

“When you have a bright, bold lipstick on, you don’t really need anything else. I’m partial to the Clinique Dramatically Different Lipstick in Firecracker.”
