Her Married At First Sight 'husband' Dan Webb is due to face court on Friday for aggravated fraud charges.

And the fate of Tamara Joy's TV groom seemed to be weighing heavy on the brunette beauty's mind on Tuesday, as she stepped out looking tearful during a shopping trip in Chatswood, Sydney.

The 29-year-old administrative assistant looked visibly upset as she was comforted by her co-star Susie Pearl while picking up groceries.

Tamara was stony-faced during the outing, as she stepped out in skintight activewear.

She showed off her ample cleavage in a low-cut cropped black vest top teamed with leggings.

She completed her look with a pair of black and white slides and added a pop of colour with a bright blue manicure. 

Styling her glossy dark tresses in a simple side-parting, Tamara framed her features with minimal make-up.

While the intruder took comfort in her pal Susie, her 'husband' Dan was noticeably absent from the trip.

The 35-year-old 'groom' has been accused of helping to scam up to $20 million off Queenslanders.

He will face Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday for an aggravated fraud charge, The Gold Coast Bulletin reported. 

Dan is alleged to be part of a scheme that had vulnerable people act as 'puppet directors' of 12 scam companies in early 2014.

Investors were allegedly asked to fork out $500 to $1,000 for a four day trial of betting and investment software and then made to sign-month contracts.

Former Gold Coast detective Michael Featherstone is alleged to be the brains behind the boiler room scam, which is thought to have made between $15million and $20million.

Whether or not Tamara is aware of her husband's charge unknown. Daily Mail Australia does not suggest Tamara or the show's network Channel Nine were aware of the allegations aimed against Dan.

Daily Mail Australia attempted to contact Nine Entertainment for a comment on the matter.

He debuted on the show as an 'intruder' this week. Interestingly, he still appeared to be wearing his gold wedding band on Thursday from his faux TV wedding to 'wife' Tamara.

While Tamara said she wanted a real life bad boy, she might have got more than she bargained for with her new 'husband'.

Tamara made a comment on Monday night's episode in the lead up to her commitment ceremony that she wanted a marriage like 'Bonnie and Clyde'.

'Like, I don’t want him to be a robber or anything,' she said on camera. Following the ceremony, Tamara said she was impressed with Dan's confidence: 'I love that he was taking charge. I think that shows a lot of his character.'

Dan also took to the screen on Monday night to open up about his desire to find the love of his life.

'I’ve come on this experiment because I want to introduce my son to the woman I’ve fallen in love with,' he said.
