Thiruvananthapuram: Fisheries control room inaugurated

The minister said all information on fishermen venturing out to sea would be available that once the centre becomes operational.
The minister also urged the fishermen to make use of biometric cards and Sagara mobile app. The government has set aside an amount of Rs 1 crore as insurance premium, she said.
The minister also distributed certificates for 40 fishermen of sea rescue squad who returned after completing training in Goa.
