Indore: As a mark of 20-year long association of Daly College Business School (DCBS) and De Montfort University, UK, the DCBS organised inaugural ceremony of DMU Immersion Programme and three-day celebration to mark setting up business school by the then chief minister Digvijay Singh on January 26, 1998.
The major celebrations will be held from March 1-3. During the inaugural ceremony, president of board of governors of Daly College Narendra Singh Jhabua was guest of honour. He addressed the gathering sharing values that builds businessmen.
“Every experience is a lesson, whether it is a loss or a branding adventure,” he said. “We must fail in life and business, otherwise we will never learn to get up and restart our venture,” he added.
Further, a session on branding was organised for students to understand different strategies of promotion in India. Julia Cook, associate professor and college dean Om S Chauhan addressed the students. A workshop on social media marketing of brands was organised to help students stay updated with latest ways of marketing.
Upcoming celebrations
More than 200 old students have registered with the foundation of DCBS Alumni Chapter to relive and cherish old memories. The celebration includes unveiling of logo of DCBS Alumni Association followed by report of last 20 years by college director Dr Rinku Joshi. The celebration will include plethora of events like felicitation of teachers, ex-students, networking session, fun activities.
