Two youths die in separate accidents
TNN | Feb 28, 2019, 04:51 ISTAttingal: Two 20-year-old youths died in two separate road accidents in the Kallambalam and Kilimanoor police station limits, in the early hours of Wednesday. The accidents had taken place around 10.30pm on Tuesday.
Deepak Dileep, son of Dileep Kumar and Deepthi of Karavaram near Thottakkadu and Abin S, son of Sudarsanan of Ayyappankavu near Kilimanoor are the deceased.
Police said Deepak, a bulldozer operator, died after he lost control of his motorcycle and rammed a wall. He was returning home from work. Though passers-by rushed him to the Medical College Hospital, he died around 1.30am.
Abin, an MCom student of Sree Sankara Vidyapeedam College at Raloorkavu near Nagaroor, met with accident when his two-wheeler collided with another two-wheeler near Pulimathu Junction near Kilimanoor.
He suffered serious injuries on his head and died around 12.30am. His friend who was riding pillion sustained injuries on his face and is reported to be out of danger, police said.
Their mortal remains were released to their families after post mortem examination, on Wednesday afternoon.
