Piyush Mishra: ‘Won’t sing Husna until Pakistan addresses terrorism’

Actor, singer Piyush Mishra won’t sing his popular song Husna, which premiered on MTV Coke Studio in 2012, until Pakistan addresses the issue of terrorism in the wake of this month’s Pulwama attack. At the end of an interview on Sunday at the HT Imagine Fest in Delhi, Hindustan Times’ Saumya Sharma requested Mishra to sing a few lines of the song but Mishra said he has taken an oath not to sing Husna until Pakistan addressed the issue of terrorism. Mishra said lately during concerts fans have requested him to sing his famous song Husna but he has politely refused. (Saumya Sharma)
