SpiceJet starts ticket booking for flights to and from Jharsuguda
Ritesh Sharma | TNN | Feb 28, 2019, 04:12 ISTJharsuguda: Budget airline SpiceJet on Wednesday announced the launch of ticket booking for daily direct flights to Veer Surendra Sai (VSS) Airport in Jharsuguda from Delhi, Hyderabad and Kolkata under the Udan regional connectivity scheme. The ticket launch was announced at an event in New Delhi in the presence of Union petroleum minister Dharmendra Pradhan, minister of state for civil aviation, Jayant Sinha, and Ajay Singh, chairman and managing director of SpiceJet.
SpiceJet is offering an all-inclusive introductory promotional fare starting at Rs 3701 on the Delhi-Jharsuguda-Delhi and Jharsuguda-Hyderabad-Jharsuguda routes, while it will be Rs 2560 all inclusive on Jharsuguda-Kolkata-Jharsuguda route. The airline is all set to start operations from March 31.
During the launch, Dharmendra said, “The commencement of flight operation at VSS Airport in Jharsuguda will open up new business opportunities for the area.”
