Usually known to be active throughout all situations, this time, in yet another shocking incident, Pakistani artists like Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Atif Aslam and other Pakistan artists have been off all social media platforms. Neither of the artists, especially those who once performed even in Bollywood, have said a word regarding IAF's pre-dawn air strikes over Pakistan terror camps.

This happened despite Pakistani government responding to the strike, and even put a 'ban' on Indian films there. For the uninitiated, Indian movies declared ban on their release in Pakistan much prior. India even banned Pakistani artists from working on the Indian soil once again.

Pakistan on Tuesday "strongly rejected India's claim" of targeting terrorist camp near Balakot and causing heavy casualties even as it vowed to respond "at the time and place of its choosing" to what it called India's "uncalled for aggression". At a special meeting of the National Security Committee hours after India's air strikes in Balakot inside Pakistan, Prime Minister Imran Khan asked the armed forces and the people of Pakistan to remain prepared for all eventualities.

India bombed and destroyed Jaish-e-Mohammed's biggest training camp in Pakistan early Tuesday, killing a "very large number" of terrorists, trainers and senior commanders, officials said in New Delhi."Forum (NSC) strongly rejected Indian claim of targeting an alleged terrorist camp near Balakot and the claim of heavy casualties. Once again Indian government has resorted to a self serving, reckless and fictitious claim," said a statement issued after the NSC meeting in Islamabad.

Prime Minister Khan also summoned a special meeting of the National Command Authority (NCA) on Wednesday. Khan will also engage with global leadership to "expose irresponsible" Indian policy in the region, the statement added.Later addressing a joint press conference with the ministers of defence and finance, Qureshi asserted that Pakistan will "respond to Indian aggression." He announced that a three-member committed, including him, finance minister and defence minister, has been formed to approach the parliament to take the people and other parties into confidence on the evolving situation.

Interestingly the Pulwama Terror Attack and Surgical Strike 2 isn't the first time when Fawad and other Pakistani artists did not respond. In the past, during the Uri attacks and the surgical strike at that time too, these artists had taken a back seat, and much later, Fawad released a statement for World peace, but did not condemn the act of terrorism. In comparison, Mahira Khan strongly condemned the act of terrorism on any soil. She even earned praises for her bold statement.

Three years after Uri attacks, the Pakistani actors are mum once again and the internet once again demands answers. India wants to know why the Pakistani actors, who are loved in India to a great extent, cannot react on the act of terrorism carried out a few days back.
