The launch of this website will be celebrated with a not to be missed event in The Smithwick’s Experience on Parliament Street. It is opened to both the members as well as non-members.
At the brewery entrance, the event attendees will be greeted with an array of Kilkenny inspired amusing activities like hurling demos from The Kilkenny Way after a behind the scenes look in The Smithwick’s Experience as they go up for the main event to the brewery bar.
Refreshments will be offered by Ballykeefe Distillery, Highbank Orchards and Butler House in what will be a nod to Kilkenny being honored the title as Ireland’s the Foodie Destination of Ireland for the Year 2018.
The launch of the new website was a jointly financed effort by Kilkenny Tourism and Kilkenny Leader Partnership The significant investment saw a modified design which will bring to the forefront the best of Kilkenny to the world.
For Kilkenny Tourism members, the new glossy and user-friendly website will create a major difference as all their information is clearly outlined over there and easily accessible to all website visitors. As one of the top tourist destinations in Ireland, the Kilkenny Tourism website is currently an improved information hub for potential city and county visitors.
On Thursday, the launch starts at 6pm and everybody is free to participate. If you would like to attend, contact info@purcellmasterson. com by Tuesday, February 26th.
