On the North's flagship newspaper, Rodong Shinmun, Kim's Hanoi summit has been gracing its covers with daily coverage along with detailed descriptions of Kim's quote 'excellent diplomatic skills. In an op-ed on Wednesday (February 27), one writer even talked about 'sleepless nights' since the leader went abroad. (SOUNDBITE) (Korean) NORTH KOREAN PRESIDENT OF SCIENCE-TECHNOLOGY COMPLEX, CHOE JONG HO, SAYING: "Our leader has once again gone abroad for the sake of our motherland's prosperity. We are overcome with pride." State media has confirmed that Kim will be staying in Vietnam until March 2nd (Saturday), making his overall trip at least seven days. It'll be the longest he's been away from North Korea since coming to power.
