Milk is one of the healthiest drinks to have. Adults or kids, everybody should be having milk, period. Rich in nutrients, vitamins and calcium, milk can get rid of so many deficiencies but it is just close to impossible to get kids to drink a glass of milk every single day. From the smell to the plain old taste, kids make up so many excuses just to avoid this. If not this, how do parents then keep their kids healthy and fit? Celebrity nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar, in an exclusive interview with us, gave some valuable inputs for parents facing such a similar tricky situation. According to her, if your kids are not ready milk, do not ever try to force-feed them and instead, try offering them some other healthy, calcium-rich alternatives like a til-chikki or ragi dosa. She also says that milk biscuits or malted powders or no good for kids of a young age.She also shared some inputs on how to increase your kids' height naturally. According to her, the first and foremost step is to ensure that kids get to have at least 60-90 minutes of free play outdoors, supplemented by a proper diet and nutrition.
