Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Says There Is a \'Hostage Situation\' in The Republican Party

Freshman representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez thinks there is a “hostage situation” taking place in the Republican party.??????In a recent interview with Rolling stone she said “a lot of Republicans” don’t speak out on a wide range of issues including impeachment, even when they know they should.??????Saying we are no longer in the realm of politics anymore, saying quote, “These are questions of society.

These are questions of equal treatment.

These are questions of civil rights.”??????On her end, Ocasio-Cortez admitted that she would in fact vote to impeach president Trump.

However she acknowledged that it would be hard for some lawmakers to vote for impeachment.????She also told the magazine that she is tired of people saying, “I’m gonna vote the same way as bigots, but I don’t share the ideology of bigots.” ??????Going onto say, “Well, you share the action and the agenda of bigots.

We need to hold that accountable.”??
