Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday hailed the Indian Air Force's strikes across the Line of Control to target terrorist camps.
Naidu's son and a cabinet minister, Nara Lokesh, also congratulated IAF for the successful strikes.
"Congratulations to the Indian Air Force for carrying out successful strikes on a terrorist camp across the LoC. Salute you with pride," tweeted Lokesh.
Congress leader and former Minister of State for Defence, M.M. Pallam Raju, has also congratulated IAF and said the Congress party fully backs the government over the issue.
Raju said the strikes were the appropriate response to the February 14 terror attack at Pulwama which claimed the lives of 40 CRPF troopers.
