Hubballi: IAS officers tie the knot in a simple ceremony

Ujjwal Kumar Ghosh and Hephsiba Rani Korlapati got married at a sub-registrar’s office in HubballiHUBBALLI: IAS officers Ujjwal Kumar Ghosh, 40, and Hephsiba Rani Korlapati, 38, got married at a sub-registrar's office here on Monday.
Ghosh is the commissioner of land acquisition, resettlement and rehabilitation of Upper Krishna Project in Bagalkot. Korlapati is deputy commissioner of Udupi district.
Select family members and friends attended the wedding at the Hubballi South sub-registrar's office.
Sources said Ghosh had submitted documents to register the marriage in January. Korlapati was managing director of Hubballi-Dharwad Smart City Ltd when the documents were submitted, they added. A 2008 batch IAS officer, Ghosh is originally from Jharkhand. Korlapati is from Andhra Pradesh and joined the service in 2011.
