Dino Hira is going to struggle to find inner-peace this week.

The spiritual groom is set to find himself in the middle of a huge scandal after he's busted secretly recording 'wife' Melissa Lucarelli on Married At First Sight.

Discussing the upcoming scenes on Perth's 96FM with Paul & Lise on Monday, Melissa, 34, branded the invasion of privacy as 'creepy'.

'He was secretly recording me - there's just no excuse for that. It's creepy,' raged Melissa during the radio interview.

'The only way I found out about it was when I then caught him trying to record another conversation. I was besides myself.'

It is believed Dino was recording his 'wife' while she was on the phone to her sister.

Although the act may shock some, Dino had naively intended to play the audio back at a later stage during a counselling session with the experts.

However, it appears his plan quickly backfired.

Despite signing up for the reality show, Melissa added that the stars still expect some level of privacy while in Sydney for filming.

'It's not Big Brother, there's not cameras there recording us 24/7,' added Melissa.

'When we're getting filmed, we know we're getting filmed [but] he was secretly recording my conversation.'
