The Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi met on Tuesday morning within hours of the air strikes by Indian Air Force (IAF) at Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) hideout terror camps in Pakistani territories of Balakot, Chakothi and Muzaffarabad.

The CCS meet is underway and is being attended by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and other top officials of the prime minister's office and the security apparatus are also present at the meeting, official sources said.
