Clutching at straws: Incredible moment a woman catches a paper straw between her fingers 'like Mr Miyagi' with her eyes closed
- Sophie Heine was at a fast food restaurant with her boyfriend Jonas Wendling
- Mr Wendling, 19, from France, fired a paper straw cover at his girlfriend as a joke
- He said: 'I was so impressed with her reaction and I laughed while I filmed it'
This is the moment a burger-chomping student performed a 'Mr Miyagi' style straw catch in a fast food restaurant.
High school student Jonas Wendling, 19, captured the moment his girlfriend Sophie Heine, carried out the impressive ninja-like move.
As she munched on her burger Jonas blew on and fired the paper straw cover at her face but in an incredible reaction move she blocked his shot and captured it between her index and middle finger.

Strawly not: Sophie Heine looks as though she can't believe it when she realises she has managed to catch the paper straw cover
Ms Heine is seen to go into an almost meditative state as she closes her eyes.
She then quickly raises her hand to her face before catching the paper straw cover.
Once she realises what she has done her eyes bulge in shock.

Mr. Miyagi mentors the characters Daniel LaRusso and Julie Pierce in the film franchise Karate Kid. Morita earned an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance
The move has been compared with Mr Miyagi, Karate Kid's fictional karate master, played by Japanese American actor Pat Morita.
Mr Wendling, from Rantzwiller, north east France, said: 'I've seen videos of other couples doing the same thing and decided to film me firing a straw on my girlfriend's face as a memory.
'I was so impressed with her reaction and I laughed while I filmed it.
'Of the people who have seen it online, 95% have been really impressed at my girlfriend's reflexes. Some thought it was an edited video, but this is the raw footage.'
