Chana in bear grip

The sluggish trend in chana continued on weak demand, higher arrivals and adequate stock. At the mandis in Indore, chana (kanta) declined to ₹3,900-4,000, while chana (vishal) was at ₹3,950 and chana (desi) at ₹3,800 a quintal. Chana dal (average) fetched ₹4,900-5,000, chana dal (medium) was at ₹5,100-5,200, while chana dal (bold) ruled at ₹5,300-5,400 a quintal.
