Man, wife killed in accident on NH 8

Vadodara: A man and his wife, on a motorcycle, were killed in an accident that took place on the national highway 8 on Sunday night, while their child riding with them escaped with minor injuries. The accident happened when their motorcycle was hit by a speeding dumper near Ajwa Chowkdi. One of the victims died on the spot, while the other succumbed to injuries in the hospital. The victims, identified as Subhash Vasava, 32, and his wife Hiral, 30, residents of Khodiyarnagar area, were travelling on a motorcycle with their six-year-old kid. When the bike climbed the bridge, a dumper hit it from behind. While the injured man and his wife fell on the road and were grievously injured, the child miraculously escaped with minor injuries.
