Oscars 2019: Rami Malek takes home Best Actor award, 'Green Book' bags Best Film

The much-awaited 91st Annual Academy awards have been announced. The ceremony, which has been in the news for its lack of central host, saw some of the best names in Hollywood presenting the awards to the winners at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. While, 'Green Book' bagged the best film, Rami Malek took home best actor award for his performance as Freddie Mercucry in 'Bohemian Rhapsody.' Others who won are Best Director goes to Alfonso Cuarón for 'Roma', Olivia Colman bags Best Actress in a Leading Role for 'The Favourite', Best Actor in a Supporting Role goes to Mahershala Ali for 'Green Book', Best Actress in a Supporting Role has been given to Regina King for 'If Beale Street Could Talk', ‘Roma’ bags Best Foreign Language Film and Best Original song award has been given to Lady Gaga, Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando and Andrew Wyatt for 'Shallow' from 'A Star is Born'.
