Afghanistan's teenage spin sensation Rashid Khan became the first-ever bowler to bag four wickets in four deliveries in a Twenty20 International (T20I) on Sunday.

Overall, he became just the second bowler in the history of the sport to do so in international cricket after Sri Lankan veteran Lasith Malinga, who achieved the milestone during the 2007 Cricket World Cup against South Africa.

On Sunday, batting first Afghanistan posted a total of 210 in 20 overs. In reply to that, Ireland managed only 178 for 8 in 20 overs, thanks to Rashid's brilliant show with the ball.

The spinner clinched his second five-wicket haul in the T20Is as he finished with figures of 5 for 27 and led Afghanistan to a superb 32-run victory in the third and final T20I.

Mohammad Nabi, who hammered 81 off just 36 balls to lead Afghanistan to a healthy total of 210 for 7, was named the Player of the Match.

Rashid overall became the seventh bowler to claim a hat-trick in the T20Is. He notched that up in the 18th over when he had Shane Getkate out stumped.

The Sunrisers superstar picked the first wicket of his hat-trick when he dismissed Kevin O'Brien off the final ball of 16th over for 74.

He completed his hat-trick when he returned to bowl in the 18th over, Rashid dismissed George Dockrell, Getkate Simi Singh off the first three deliveries to make it four wickets in four consecutive balls.

Rashid got his fifth wicket when he clean bowled Joshua Little in the final over of the match as Afghanistan clean swept Ireland 3-0 in the T20I series.
