The CPI(M) has warned of a public protest against attempts to hand over the Thiruvananthapuram international airport to Adani Group, which has emerged the highest bidder for operating the airport.
Addressing the media in Kottayam on Monday, Mr.Balakrishnan said the party was resolved to prevent the move at any cost.
“The Union government is naturally inclined to hand over the airport to Adani Group. Any attempts to put this plan into operation will be resisted through a massive public protest,” he said.
