Married At First Sight star Ines Basic appeared stressed during an outing in Melbourne on Saturday afternoon.

The 'villain' bride puffed on several cigarettes as she met up with co-star Martha Kalifatidis for a boozy lunch. 

During their outing, the 28-year-old flashed a faint smile amid backlash from her controversial TV appearance continues to grow.

Ines covered her svelte frame in an oversized grey cardigan, just one day before her final scenes on the reality show aired on Sunday night.

She kept things casual with a pair of skinny ripped jeans, converse trainers and white Levis singlet top.  

Perhaps attempting to keep a low profile, Ines did not remove her large sunglasses and wore her hair slicked back in a ponytail.

Meanwhile, Martha glammed up for their afternoon out.

The Bondi-based makeup artist's brunette locks flowed freely and framed her flawless complexion. 

She slipped into a pair of stylish 'boyfriend' style jeans, and flaunted her enviable abs with a tiny white crop top. 

Before sitting down to dine, the girls visited a nearby salon, with Martha playfully trying on a blonde hair extension while stocking up on a beauty supplies.  

They were later joined by Martha's friend Theo, who is also close to Ines.

It was recently claimed that Ines had lost a staggering 12kg since the show started.

A source told also told Woman's Day that Ines 'cut herself off' from her friends and the rest of the MAFS cast and was 'living like a recluse in her Brisbane home'.

The insider added: 'She has lost about 12kg since filming finished - and she was tiny to begin with. Everyone's really worried about her.'

However, a fan that met Ines in Melbourne over the weekend, wrote on Facebook that the beauty said she had in fact only lost 6kg.

The fan also claimed that Ines had said her weight loss was a result of a close friend passing away, shortly after she finished filming last year.

Ines shared a heartfelt Instagram tribute to friend Tim Caraco on December 02 - shortly after she finished filming.

'Thank you for being part of all my wildest and funnest memories growing up, your laugh was infectious. See you in a new world Tim,' she wrote.

Ines allegedly told the fan that 'despite all the haters out there she also said she's had lots of love as well.'
