Google hilariously lent a hand in Hollywood’s favorite movies to advertise its new software, including Assistant and other hardware, during the 2019 Academy Awards Sunday night.

The first scene shows Keir Dullea in 2001: A Space Odyssey when his character Dave Bowman asks HAL to “Open the pod bay doors.”

After the ship doesn’t do as commanded, Bowman looks to a Google Home Mini to get the job done.

“Hey Google, open the pod bay doors,” Bowman says in the clip.

Next up is Ed Helms as The Hangover character uses his Pixel 3 XL to show him the wild photos from the night before.

Saoirse Ronan‘s character Christine in Lady Bird also uses her Pixel 3 XL to call a Lyft during the famed scene, in which she leaps out of a moving car while being yelled at by her mother.

Drew Barrymore also makes a cameo for her role as Casey Bicker from horror classic Scream. While on the phone with the killer, Bicker uses her Google Home Hub to locate the man in the mask and notify the police.

“Police are on their way, see ya!” Bicker says.

Cuba Gooding Jr.‘s character Rod Tiwell in Jerry Maguire also uses the Google Home Hub to read his bank state using the iconic line, “Show me the money.”

Last up was a scene from Deadpool, in which Ryan Reynolds asks his Google Home Hub “what’s on my calendar today?”

The device responds by saying a commercial with Google.

“GREAT commercial @Google way to incorporate some famous films!” another user tweeted.

“Was that Google commercial its premiere? That was well done,” a different fan expressed.
