Indore succeeded in attracting 50 percent tourism investment in MP

To quote the tourism promotion unit director AK Rajoria, “We are conducting a survey of all tourism projects in state. The survey will help us in understanding the needs of investors as well as tourists across the state.” The study will mainly target on a series of parameters like the local purchases, handicraft, specialties, and culture and investment pattern in recent years and anticipated trend among others.

 

Rajoria explained that the survey is most likely to be finished around six months and will help in drawing investments from private investors worldwide into the state. As per the corporation, in past 2 years, an investment to the tune of Rs 1,300 crore has been contributed into the state of which almost 50 percent investments have come at places in and around Indore. The corporation is hoping Rs 450 crore investments to come into state in next financial year.
