The Chicago Auto Show's 28th annual First Look for Charity gala raised more than $2.8 million for 18 local nonprofit organizations. The event, held the evening before the show opened, offered attendees a chance to preview the show while sampling food and cocktails from local restaurants and caterers. Two new vehicles were given away — a Blazer provided by Chevrolet and the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana Chevy Dealers, and a Jeep Compass provided by FCA US.

• Land Rover San Diego has added a Jaguar franchise. With the addition, Holman Automotive Group now comprises 37 dealership franchises representing 18 brands.
• The new location of #1 Cochran Subaru of Butler County in suburban Pittsburgh had its official opening last week. The 29,000-square-foot facility in Renfrew, Pa., includes a showroom, 21-bay service department and environmentally friendly wastewater treatment system.
