The Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency is tracking the power outages Monday due to the high winds.

As of noon, the sustained westerly winds were 25-35 mph with gusts up to 65 mph, and forecasters expected the winds to continue through this evening across southern New England.

The damaging winds is bring down trees, tree limbs, and power lines.

Travel may be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles, according to MEMA.

The State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) activated to Level 2 (Partial Activation) at 7 a.m. Monday in order to provide situational awareness and coordinate requested assistance to cities and towns.

Massachusetts power outages

The map below displays power outage data reported to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency by National Grid, Eversource and Unitil.

Figures are updated every 15 minutes. Click on a city or town to view the percentage of customers without power, notes on restoration and other information reported by the utilities.

The map doesn't include data for areas served by municipal power companies.

 

 

Eversource customers without power can report outages by phone by calling 1-800-592-2000 or online at the Eversource website.

Eversource also provides notifications and outage alerts to customers by mobile phone. Register for outage reporting and status updates via text by by sending "REG" to 23129.

National Grid customers can report outages or downed wires by calling 1-800-867-5222. You can also report outages online or via National Grid's mobile app, available from the iTunes and GooglePlay stores. If you have life-sustaining equipment in your home, call 1-800-642-4272.
