Rally in Delhi seeks early conclusion of Naga talks
TNN | Feb 24, 2019, 08:45 ISTGUWAHATI: The Naga diaspora on Saturday came together in New Delhi on Saturday and held the 'Global Naga Mass Rally" with a call for immediate conclusion of the Naga peace talks and a solution that is "honourable and acceptable."
Thousands of Nagas living in Delhi and across the world took out the rally from Jantar Mantar to Parliament Street.
The peace talks with the Centre, which started with NSCN (IM), has been continuing for more than two decades without any results so far except the signing of a framework agreement in 2015.
The talks have recently included every other militant group, known as political groups, of Nagaland, seven of them, including the Indian-origin NSCN (K).
