Teenage shooting prodigy created a world record by winning gold in the men's 10m air pistol final (ISSF) here on Sunday.

A Commonwealth Games, and Youth gold medallist, Chaudhary logged a total of 245.0, dominating Damir Mikec with a point difference of 5.7. The Serbian finished with 239.3 to bag silver and second Olympic quota place in the event.

Meanwhile, and Youth Olympic gold medallist Manu Bhaker finished fifth in the women's 25m Pistol event.

Bhaker was doing well but could only score 22 in the final after qualifying with an impressive 590.

gold medallist Rahi Sarnobat missed out on the final after finishing with a total of 580.

In the men's 50m Rifle 3 Positions, and could not go past the qualification. Parul finished 22nd with 1170 points while Rajput 25th with 1169 points.
