Three-time BJP MLA Baddam Bal Reddy, 74, died while undergoing treatment in a corporate hospital here on Saturday evening.
He is survived by wife, three sons and a daughter.
He was admitted to hospital with lung infection on February 10 but developed complications. His condition deteriorated on Saturday.
Mr. Reddy had won from Karwan Assembly constituency here in 1985, 1989 and 1994. He lost in the recent Assembly elections from Rajendranagar.
Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao condoled him.
