The Sikkim Government has granted ex-gratia of ₹3 lakh each to the families of the 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel killed in the Pulwama terror attack on February 14.
The Sikkim government will also sponsor the education of children of the CRPF personnel killed in the attack.
Chief Minister Shri Pawan Chamling said the state of Sikkim stands in solidarity with them.
A sum of ₹1.29 crore has been sanctioned from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for disbursement to the families in next few days, an official said.
