Villupuram MP S Rajendran dies in road accident near Tindivanam

S RajendiranVILLUPURAM: Villupuram MP S Rajendran died on the spot when a sport utility vehicle he was travelling in rammed the median of a road near Tindivanam on Saturday morning.
The accident happened at around 6am when the AIADMK Lok Sabha member was returning home after visiting his friends and party members at a guest house in Jakkampettai. The driver lost control of the vehicle, and it hit the median.
Rajendran, who sustained severe injuries, died on the spot while the driver and MP’s assistant escaped with minor injuries.
