Massive fire engulfs nearly 100 cars at Bengaluru Aero Show Venue

Bengaluru: Massive fire broke out in a parking lot at the venue of the 2019 Aero India show, on Saturday, at the Yelahanka air base where nearly 100 cars are reported to be gutted in the fire. However, no lives have been claimed till now.

According to a policeman, the fire spread after one car caught fire, setting other near-by cars ablaze.

To douse the fire, more than 10 fire engines have reached the spot. However, the cause of the fire is not yet known but it is said a lit cigarette that was thrown into the grass might have started the fire.

Seven ambulances have also been stationed at the site in case of any causalities.
