The government posted Ashok Yadav as Inspector General of Police, Thiruvananthapuram Range. Vijay Sahkare, IG, Ernakulam Range, has been posted as IG, Thrissur Range. IG, Thrissur Range, M.R. Ajith Kumar, has been posted as Director, Kerala Police Academy. Present District Police Chief (Thiruvananthapuram City) S. Surendran has been posted at the Police Headquarters here.
