Two arrested for illegally selling liquor in Madurai

MADURAI: The prohibition and enforcement wing (PEW) of the Madurai city police arrested two men for illegally selling liquor here in the early hours of Friday.
The arrested men have been identified as M Pandi, 36, of Anbu Nagar and C Siva,23, of K Pudur.
While Pandi was nabbed from near a Tasmac outlet at Thirupalai, Siva was picked up from near Thapal Thanthi Nagar bus stand.
The police seized a total of nineteen bottles of liquor (180 ml) from them.
Later, the men were released on bail.
