And Matthew Bennett looked utterly smitten with the brunette beauty on Thursday, kissing her passionately and even squeezing her bottom as they walked around Sydney.

The 29-year-old videographer, who lost his virginity to 'ex-wife' Lauren Huntriss on Married At First Sight, couldn't keep his hands off Annabelle during their tactile date.

Matthew, meanwhile, kept things casual in a blue T-shirt and black jeans paired with a red rucksack and trainers.

The couple have been busy doing the press rounds since debuting their new relationship.

Speaking to Sunshine Coast Daily this week, Matthew revealed he's 'crazy' about his new woman - but admitted the media scrutiny is putting a 'strain' on their romance.

'It's been months since the experiment finished for me. Since wrapping filming I've met a girl,' Matthew told the publication.

'I'm crazy about her. I've never been with someone who makes time disappear when I'm with her.

'And whilst reliving the experiment on TV and in the media is certainly putting strain on this new relationship, we're working through it and I'm optimistic for the future.'

Appearing on the Today show on Thursday, Matthew spoke more about his British-born girlfriend Annabelle, who he met at wrestling training in December.

'It was doing the show that gave me the confidence to try wrestling where I met Annabelle,' Matthew said.

Meanwhile, Annabelle admitted she was initially apprehensive about getting to know Matthew before letting her guard down.

'I met him and I was quite intimidated and scared of him to be honest, because he's quite a big guy. Then at training he offered me a lift home and I sort of said no and ran away,' she laughed.

The couple also took part in an interview with Nova's Fity And Wippa show the same day.

Matthew gushed about his fledgling romance with the brunette beauty and admitted the relationship is all he wished for.

'It's ironic, I got everything I asked for in the experiment, I just had to leave the experiment to get it,' he said.

He also came out swinging against his ex-'wife' Lauren, accusing her of sending a barrage of angry text messages since their widely-televised split.

'There's been relentless contact towards me and I actually asked her to stop contacting me a couple of weeks ago,' he claimed, when asked whether he's been in touch with Lauren since filming the show.

When asked whether Lauren seemed aggressive and upset in the messages, Matt said 'yes'.

Matt claimed he began receiving Lauren's messages before MAFS went to air, and that the content of the texts had nothing to do with the way they were being portrayed on the show.
