“I thought I had entered a foreign country,” was how Varun Sood, who has participated in reality shows like 'Roadies', 'Splitsvilla' and 'Ace of Space', described his reaction when he visited Bennett University on Friday. Varun, along with 'Ace of Space' winner Divya Agarwal, visited the college in Greater Noida as part of the 'Roadies' Campus tour. The duo interacted, danced and distributed merchandise to the students and also made an announcement for the chance for a crazy fan to be on 'Roadies Real Heroes'.
Agar mujhe padhai karni hoti toh main aisi hi university mein padhna chahti: Divya Agarwal
As it was the first time that Varun and Divya visited the university, they told us that they were surprised to see the spacious campus. “The campus is beautiful, I think it is the perfect environment to study because it is quiet and calm. Agar mujhe padhai karni hoti toh main aisi hi university mein padhna chahti,” said Divya, while Varun, who is an alumnus of Sri Venkateswara College, added, “It did not look like a college to me. I thought I had entered a foreign country. It has such amazing buildings, such an open space for students to roam around, and that’s what you want in your college. It is away from the city so the pollution is not that much and I think it is an ideal space for students to study.”

As the hosts interacted with the students, they shared the announcement that a 'Roadies' fan can join the gang leaders and crew on their journey on the show. While the students were excited to meet the reality show stars, a few of them also got a chance to show their talent to Divya and Varun. Poorva Singh, a first-year student of the college, who got a hug from both of them, told us, “I had requested them for the hug. I have been following them for a long time now and it was a dream come true to meet them. I am really happy that they came to our college to promote the show.”

Others were excited because they got to click selfies with Varun and Divya. “It was a fun event. We enjoyed dancing with both of them. The best thing was that I could click pictures with them,” shared Shourya Vir Singh, a third-year student. Shubham Dodeja added, “It was an interactive session where students got to meet the stars that they follow on social media, so I really liked the event.”
