Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president Dinesh Gundu Rao called on former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda at his residence in the city on Thursday and held an initial round of talks on seat sharing for the Lok Sabha elections between the two ruling parties.
State Congress leaders — former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister G. Parameshwara and others — are expected to hold talks with AICC general secretary in charge of Karnataka K.C. Venugopal in the city on Friday. Other Congress leaders are expected to meet Mr. Gowda again after a couple of rounds meetings between State party leaders, sources in the party said.
