DIG V. Balakrishnan has been transferred and posted as DIG Railways.

The officer was posted as the Joint Commissioner of Police, CCB in the first week of November. On January 10, he was shifted from CCB and posted as Joint Commissioner, East in Chennai. On Tuesday, Mr. Balakrishnan was posted as DIG Vellore Range in place of V. Vanitha. However, that order has been rescinded and he has been moved to Railways.

P.K. Senthilkumari, DIG Railways, has been posted as Joint Commissioner, CCB. V. Vanitha will continue as DIG, Vellore. P. Rajan, SP, Organised Crime Intelligence unit had been retained in the same post.
