Bhopal: The multi-level parking at MP Nagar will be inaugurated on Friday and the visitors will be allowed to use it for free for next three days. The inauguration is likely to help get rid of illegally parked four-wheelers and two-wheelers. It has been developed at a cost of Rs 45 crore in over four years. The parking is one among the projects worth Rs 110-crore that are to be inaugurated by the chief minister Kamal Nath.
This will be the third smart parking that in Bhopal besides one at Bairagarh and New Market. The parking has enough space and at a time 2000 two-wheelers and 2000 four wheelers can be parked at a time.
MP Nagar area has two other parking lots: one in front of DB mall and other near Jyoti talkies area. Smart transfer stations, smart underground garbage bin and the imported sweeping machines will also be inagurated on the day. The MP Nagar area is likely to get rid of congestion.
