Arizona State Route 89A

This is an 84-mile (135-km) Arizona highway that runs from Prescott north to Flagstaff. The route is widely known for scenic views as it passes through the Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon. Sharp turns (no trucks over 50 feet allowed) surrounded by epic red rock formations will take you to the Slide Rock State Park and the Mogollon Rim.

Historic Columbia Highway

An approximately 75-mile-long (121-kilometer) scenic highway, it is regarded as Oregon’s most beautiful road and a "destination unto itself." It’s built between 1913 and 1922, and modeled after some of Europe’s greatest scenic roads. Even from the very beginning, it was envisioned not just for regular traveling, but as a sightseeing tour of all the natural beauty along the route.

Million Dollar Highway

The 305-mile (491-km) U.S. Route 550 features a section from Silverton to Ouray which is frequently called the Million Dollar Highway. It stretches for about 25 miles (40 km) in western Colorado and with its steep cliffs, narrow lanes, and a lack of guardrails is a challenging road for the inexperienced drivers. The road is open year-round and the different sections have relatively high temperature amplitudes.

Welcome to the land of the Olympic National Park. Prepare for narrow and winding roads in many places, but the route is good for both a car and a bike, for all skill levels. At just over 659 miles (1,061 km), the State Route 1 is the longest state route in California. The Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) nestles between the coastal light of the Pacific Ocean and the creeping shadows of 5,000-foot (1,524-meter) tall mountains.
