NEW DELHI: A fortnight after their Delhi joint show, opposition parties will meet again on February 26 to discuss the way forward to turn their gathering into a cohesive anti-BJP bloc.

The meeting being organised by the Congress in the capital will include all the major parties from the opposition block where the discussions are likely to focus on a ‘common minimum programme’ and possible alliances.

The meeting comes amid speculations that the Election Commission may announce the national polls in the first week of March. Besides Congress, Trinamool Congress, DMK, RJD, TDP, JD(S), Left bloc, and AAP are among those who are expected to join the discussions. On the issue of CMP, there are differences of opinion within the opposition axis with the Left leaders saying that any discussion on a joint vision of governance can only be thrashed out after the polls.
