Kakkanadan award for Rajeev Kumar

Thiruvananthapuram: Writer M Rajeev Kumar has been chosen for the third Kakkanadan literary award, instituted by Malayala Samaskarika Vedi, for his book titled ‘Stories of M Rajeev Kumar’.
The award, comprising a purse of Rs 10,001, citation and a plaque, would be presented at a function — Kadholsavam — to be organized at Varkala in connection with the birth anniversary of Kakkanadan.
The selection committee included writer Babu Kuzhimattom, literary critic Balachandran Vadakkedath and Kerala university Malayalam department former head G Padma Rao.
