NOIDA: In a bid to check malpractices, the Higher Education Council of Uttar Pradesh has issued stringent directives to all the centres hosting the undergraduation and post-graduation exams, starting February 21, to install CCTV cameras in all halls and not to allow any invigilator to carry their mobile phones inside.
Additionally, all admit cards of the examinees would have to be laminated. Some 28 centres in Noida and Ghaziabad would be hosting the annual examinations which will continue till April 16, the officials said.
“Invigilators will not be allowed to carry their mobile phones inside the examination halls. A thorough check will be conducted so that the students do not carry small notes, pictures, guidebooks or any material inside the hall. Additionally, all admit cards will have to be laminated so that no one can tamper with the names on them,” said Rajiv Kumar Gupta, the regional higher education officer.
