CPI Decries Meghalaya Governor’s call for Boycott of Kashmiris

Communist Party of India CPI has condemned Meghalaya Governor Tathagata Roy’s call for a boycott of Kashmir and Kashmiris good. It said that Governor should be removed for his anti-constitutional statement.

In a statement, it said that ‘Coming from an NDA appointed constitutional authority shows the ruling dispensation’s scant respect for constitutional principles. Kashmir is an integral part of India and Kashmir doesn’t mean only land but also its people. Separatists indulging in terrorism should be brought to book not each and every Kashmiri. Boycotting Kashmiri’s will only alienate the Kashmiri people from the rest of India”.
