Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar's friendship goes way back in the 90s, even before the filmmaker started his career. The duo shares a warm bond and KJo addresses SRK as 'Bhai'. Moreover, in Karan's directorial debut Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, SRK played the male lead and from thereon they both worked in movies namely Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, My Name Is Khan to name a few. Fans can't wait to see SRK star in a Karan Johar directorial soon!
Interestingly, this time SRK went behind the camera and made Karan his muse. We are talking about KJo's latest Instagram post. The ace filmmaker posted a stylish photo of himself, wherein he is seen wearing a multicoloured zipper jacket and black printed pants. He teamed it up with golden sunglasses, orange sneakers and carried a black bag. The photo is clicked by none other than Shah Rukh! Karan shared the picture with the caption stating, "Color of the day! Honoured to be shot by @iamsrk"
Recently, SRK and Karan's film My Name Is Khan clocked nine years of its release and the latter shared a heartfelt note on his Twitter page. He tweeted, "#9YearsOfMyNameIsKhan ...I feel so blessed to have been able to tell this story....thank you for creating it @ShibaniWrites ....and thank you @iamsrk for living the role of Rizwan so beautifully and brilliantly... thank you @KajolAtUN for your eyes...your silences and more...."
Meanwhile, on the work front, Karan announced his upcoming directorial Takht which is set to be a period film set in the Mughal era. The movie has an ensemble cast including Anil Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor.
