Arms factory busted in Kutch

The arms that were recovered from the factoryRAJKOT: An illegal arms factory was busted and its owner arrested in Raidhan Jar village of Abdasa taluka in Kutch district on Thursday.
The accused, identified as Noormohammed Hingora (55), ran the factory along with his son Mansoor, who fled before the raid.
“We raided the factory, following a tip-off. We seized raw materials used in manufacturing 12 bore rifles. One such half-made rifle was found on the premises,” said an official from Kothara police station.
“We have also seized an SUV from the spot. We are interrogating Hingora to find out as to how many firearms he had manufactured and sold so far,” added the official.
