The expo will be joined by exhibitors from Japan, Italy, Switzerland, India, China, South Korea and Thailand, the Myanmar Paddy Producers Association (MPPA) was quoted as saying. These countries will display items such as, farm equipment, value-adding technology, agro-products and input.
MPPA is the organiser of the expo which is scheduled for March 1 to 3. The expo will feature 80 stalls from 40 local and foreign companies.
The aim of the expo is to mark Myanmar Peasants’ Day, falling on Mar 2, and help build connections with international participants, hold demonstrations, business-to-business matching and display latest agro-based machinery. In addition, educative talks, seminars and performances will be attached to the expo.
