SSP Allahabad transferred to Meerut
TNN | Feb 21, 2019, 11:51 ISTLUCKNOW: The state government transferred 15 IPS officers, including SSP Allahabad, on Wednesday night.
Two ADGs are among those transferred. SSP Allahabad Nitin Tiwari has been made SSP Meerut. He has been replaced by deputy director, traffic directorate, Atul Sharma, while SSP Meerut Akhilesh Kumar has been posted as DIG PAC in Lucknow. The post was lying vacant after the transfer of IG law and order Praveen Kumar in 2018. ADG Bareilly zone Prem Prakash has swapped posting with ADG Kanpur zone Avinash Chandra. District police chiefs of Auraiya, Deoria, Mirzapur, Balrampur and Amethi were also shifted.
