Ujjain: An army major was manhandled by a shopkeeper’s men on Tuesday. The major lodged a complaint with Mahakal police station. According to police 39-year-old major Madhu AT son of A Krishnan resident of Bairagarh Bhopal came to Ujjain to pay obeisance to lord Mahakal with his colleague major Priyanka and when they were bargaining with a shopkeeper, a dispute broke out and the shopkeeper’s men misbehaved and manhandled the duo. An FIR under sections 323,294 and 506 has been registered against the unknown miscreants and probe has been initiated into the matter.
